Cafe Dark - 1979 R100

Built to a customers spec. and finished in Feb. 2015, it looks so right finished in the timeless colours of metallic black with silver inlays. A satin black engine finish with polished alloy detailing complement the look. Lots of work has gone on underneath the 'skin' including a stripped and rebuilt engine with an uprated starter motor, refreshed top end, new clutch, timing chain kit and electronic ignition.

The frame and swinging arm were stripped 'de-lugged' of unnecessary brackets, blasted and then powder coated in satin black. A new SRC subframe and seat unit with smaller Gel battery underneath were fitted.

The wheels were re-furbished, finished in silver and treated to classic Dunlop TT100 tyres.

In the handling department, new fully adjustable Hagon shocks , and uprated progressive fork springs with thicker oil and new seals complete the transformation.

To finish off the stripped down and pared back look, billet aluminium clip-ons, Tarrozzi rearsets , and a single Acewell speedo/tacho were added along with stainless headers and short reverse cone mega silencers.

Look out for it on the great country roads of Yorkshire!
